Carl has founded and confounded several corporations with several successful exits. Carl was The founder and CEO of the Weight Know More Medical Weight Loss franchise for 34 years, which he sold in December 2023, and is now retired from that field. Carl is the Founder and President of Balanced Media Technology and creator of THE 8 CELL video game that will educate children and adults about the internal workings of the human body.
Carl was a competitor in bodybuilding competing as a novice winning small local competitions then working his way up to National Qualifiers winning the 1988 Mr. Louisiana, 1988 NPC Athlete of the year for the State of Louisiana, The Greater Gulf States championships and the Mississippi Southern Classic. Carl earned his way to the ranks of the national professional qualifiers winning the Jr. Nationals in 1989, placing 5th in the Mr. USA, top 6 in the 1991 Mr. America and finally retiring as a very well decorated and recognized competitor featured in all of the Top Bodybuilding magazines as well as being featured several times on ESPN. At the age of 40 Carl retired from competitive bodybuilding with a top 10 ranking in the nation in his respective weight class.
Carl has authored and co-authored 3 novels, “Yesterman - Journey of Fate,” “Yesterman - Journey Home,” and “The Clock,” created by Carl Lapeyrouse and written by Christopher Gayle. Carl is the creator and owner of several intellectual properties in the genre’s of Animation, Live Action, Network Series and Live/animated hybrids all registered with the Writers Guild of America.

Brandon Oldenburg is an Academy Award-winning film director (The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore), designer and immersive storyteller. Beside the Oscar, Brandon has received 4 Emmys, multiple Gold Lions at Cannes, including the Grand Prix, and a host of other industry accolades. Speaking of hosts, Brandon once hosted a show, TCM Movie Camp.
